Roque to push for nuke energy, natural gas

UniTeam senatorial candidate Harry Roque supports nuclear energy to meet the country’s growing energy demand but is against reviving the Bataan nuclear power plant (BNPP) since it would put the people and the environment at risk. The former presidential spokesman also said he would propose measures prioritizing liquified natural gas (LNG) as a cleaner alternative to coal and maximizing renewables to ensure the country’s energy security. POC lifts ban on PATAFA; Juico no longer persona non grata

The Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) Executive Board on Monday proved true to its word by trashing a resolution that declared Philip Ella Juico persona non grata and another suspending the Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association (PATAFA). “The Executive Board of the POC fulfilled its gentlemanly pronouncement and has lifted the two resolutions rendered by the POC on the PATAFA,” POC President Rep.
