New Covid case bulletin to focus on severe, critical cases

The reporting of new coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases will be done weekly starting March 7 and will focus on the severe and critical cases, a health official said Tuesday. This was after the National Capital Region and 38 other areas shifted to the most relaxed Alert Level 1 from March 1 to 15. GenSan crime rate drops by 14% in 1st 2 months

Crimes here dropped by about 14.11% during the past two months, the police said Tuesday. Col. Paul Bometivo, acting city police director, said the recorded crimes from January 1 to February 28 in the city’s 26 barangays decreased to 426 from 496 during the same period last year. He said theft cases still topped the list but dropped during the period along with murder, rape, and physical injury. The Court of Appeals (CA) has granted the petition of a local car dealer that questioned an order from the National Privacy Commission (NPC) regarding an identity theft complaint.
