Naga eases restrictions under Alert Level 1

The city government of Naga has eased restrictions for indoor and outdoor activities effective Tuesday as Alert Level 1 takes effect. The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) here is intensifying the fire safety awareness campaign for the communities as part of the Fire Prevention Month celebration this March. QC retains full vaccination requirement despite Level 1 status

Indoor establishments in Quezon City will bar adults not yet fully vaccinated despite the Alert Level 1 status on March 1 to 15. The updated guidelines released Tuesday said although full capacity will be allowed indoors, all adult participants, guests, and employees must be fully vaccinated in restaurants and other food establishments; personal care facilities including barbershops, spas, and aesthetic clinics; and sports or exercise facilities, including gyms, fitness studios and swimming pools. Unvaccinated adults shall be limited to outdoor facilities, which are defined as without walls. Only fully vaccinated individuals may participate in contact sports, whether outdoor or indoor.

63% of Eastern Visayas’ target population fully vaxxed

Vaccination against the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in Eastern Visayas has covered 63 percent of the target population, the Department of Health (DOH) regional office here reported on Tuesday. In Tacloban, the regional capital, 81.3 percent of the population are now fully vaccinated as of February 26, followed by Biliran with 80.1 percent, Ormoc City with 77.8 percent, Southern Leyte with 67.7 percent, Eastern Samar with 66.5 percent, Leyte with 60 percent, Samar with 57 percent, and Northern Samar with 55.3 percent.
