Employment Rate in Philippines Rises to 96.3% in June 2025

Manila: Employment rate in the Philippines rose to 96.3 percent in June 2025 from month-ago’s 96.1 percent, driven by more people hired in the services sector. Data released by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Wednesday showed that around 50.47 million Filipinos were employed last June, up from 50.29 million in the previous month. Houses Damaged by Severe Weather Conditions Hit 73K Mark

Manila: The number of houses damaged by last month’s enhanced southwest monsoon and tropical cyclones Crising, Dante, and Emong has breached the 73,000 mark.
