DTI chief endorses relaxing of protocols for fully vaxxed

Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez has endorsed tweaking of community quarantine protocols by allowing more mobility for fully vaccinated individuals. 159 more cops beat Covid-19 as active cases soar to 2,655

A total of 159 police officers have just recovered from the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Sunday. PNP chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar said the latest data from the PNP Health Service showed that the number of recoveries among its ranks has reached 34,303 or 92.5 percent of the 37,067 infections recorded since the start of the health crisis last year. 3 drown amid ‘Jolina’ onslaught: NDRRMC

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) confirmed Sunday three deaths by drowning when Typhoon Jolina slammed the country early last week. Reports of 14 deaths, five injured, and three missing are still undergoing validation, the NDRRMC report added. The three confirmed fatalities were all males from Marinduque, although it was not clear yet when the incident happened.
