73 new Covid-19 survivors up Region 11’s recovery tally to 53.9K

The Davao Region has logged 73 new recoveries from the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), bringing the total number of recoveries to 53,927 as of Sunday. In its Covid-19 bulletin on Aug. 29, the Department of Health in Region 11 (DOH-11) said this reflects a 79.8 percent recovery rate out of a total of 67,615 infections since the pandemic started last year. PH Covid-19 recoveries rise by nearly 17K to 1,794,278

An additional 16,864 patients have beaten the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), pushing the country’s overall recovery count to 1,794,278 as of Monday.
