PDEA Seizes PHP59 Million in Illegal Drugs During Weeklong Operations

Manila: The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) has successfully confiscated PHP59.14 million worth of illegal drugs during a series of operations conducted between March 28 and April 4. According to Philippines News Agency, 45 operations resulted in the arrest of 53 individuals. Manila: The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) is set to launch an infrastructure audit tool to assess the structural integrity of buildings in preparation for a massive earthquake, called the ‘Big One,’ in the metropolis and nearby areas.
