Over 4K kids in Aurora benefit from milk feeding program

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – A total of 4,568 undernourished children in the province of Aurora have started to benefit from the nationwide School-Based Milk Feeding Program (SBFP). Dr. Ronnie Domingo, OIC Executive Director of the Department of Agriculture-Philippine Carabao Center (DA-PCC), said on Tuesday the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Aurora has begun to distribute sterilized canned milk to beneficiaries with assistance from their parents. The distribution was done simultaneously with the provision of the students’ learning modules. 19 Antique ex-rebels get E-CLIP aid

SAN JOSE DE BUENAVISTA, Antique – Some 19 former rebels in the province received their assistance under the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (ECLIP) in a simple ceremony here on Tuesday. The former members of the Communist Party of the Philippines- New People’s Army (CPP-NPA) each received PHP21,000 in reintegration and PHP15,000 livelihood assistance from Governor Rhodora Cadiao and Interior and Local Government provincial director Cherryl Tacda.
