Gold Futures Close Higher Ahead Of US PPI Data

KUALA LUMPUR, The gold futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today ahead of the US producer price index (PPI) data which will be released later tonight. At the end of trading, August 2024 rose to US$2,468.90 per troy ounce from US$2,452.50 per troy ounce at yesterday’s close. 33 CBT Cases By Lawyers Involving Losses Of Over RM33 Million Recorded In 2023

KUALA LUMPUR, A total of 33 criminal breach of trust (CBT) cases involving lawyers were reported nationwide last year, resulting in losses of over RM33 million. KUALA LUMPUR, Former Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng told the High Court today that allegations about the arrest of his son, at Singapore Changi Airport four years ago, spread by blogger Papagomo, have been denied by former Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador.
