Manila: Families from various parts of the country will receive 913 individual land titles Monday as part of the sustained nationwide rollout of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) program. Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling and Social Housing Finance Corporation president Federico Laxa will lead the awarding of the land titles to family beneficiaries under the Enhanced Community Mortgage Program (ECMP).
According to Philippines News Agency, the ECMP beneficiaries are members of various homeowners and neighborhood associations from different regions. "Ang hangad ng Pangulong BBM ay mailapit ang makabuluhan at sapat na serbisyo sa ating mga kababayan. Sa parte ng DHSUD, patuloy namin isusulong ang pro-poor na ECMP sa ilalim ng (The goal of President BBM to bring meaningful and adequate services closer to our fellow citizens. For its part, the DHSUD will continue to advance the pro-poor ECMP under the) Expanded 4PH," Aliling said in a news release on Sunday.
Since assuming office last year, Aliling revived and enhanced the ECMP to pursue people-centric housing modalities. So far, a total of 47 ECMP projects have been approved by DHSUD, benefiting about 8,000 families throughout the country.
