T-bills rates mostly down on high demand

The rate of Treasury bills (T-bills) mostly slipped on Monday due to strong demand during the debt paper’s last auction for the year. The average rate of the 91-day securities slipped to 1.125 percent and the 182-day to 1.428 percent while the rate of the 364-day rose to 1.649 percent. DSWD warns against another fake cash aid offer online

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Monday clarified that it has no programs or financial assistance being implemented online or through social media platforms. This as the DSWD received a report on Facebook page “DSWD registeration” posing as an accredited financial aid conduit. “A bogus Facebook page, which is circulating online, posted a status, asking the public to register through a link in order to receive PHP10,000 financial assistance,” the DSWD said in a news release. The provincial government vowed on Monday to strengthen its tax campaign to sustain the high collection amid the continuous growth of the local economy. It will also continue offering discounts for taxpayers settling the right amount of taxes on or before the deadline. BFAR sees completion of 32 hatcheries in 2022

The Department of Agriculture’s Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR) commits to complete 32 more multi-species hatcheries next year.
