The Isabela provincial government will institutionalize usage of a new contact tracing and control system to strengthen the fight against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), an official said on Wednesday. High-value drug suspect yields P340-K shabu in Sorsogon

An illegal drug suspect yielded PHP340,000 worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust in Sorsogon City late Tuesday afternoon. In a report on Wednesday, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Bicol said Jaypee Ariarte, 37, a high-value target illegal drug peddler from Barangay Bibingkahan, was caught selling three sachets of shabu to an undercover agent in the same village at around 5:30 p.m. Cotton Talento, PDEA-Bicol spokesperson, said the suspect did not resist arrest. Fisherman rescued in Pangasinan after ‘Maring’

A 26-year-old fisherman from Barangay Carot in this town has been rescued hours after being stranded at sea during the onslaught of Severe Tropical Storm Maring. P57-K shabu, marijuana seized in Pangasinan

Authorities confiscated PHP54,400 worth of suspected shabu and PHP3,000 worth of marijuana in a buy-bust here on Tuesday afternoon. In an interview on Wednesday, Pangasinan Police Provincial Office information officer Maj. Arturo Melchor Jr. said the items were confiscated from Eddie Boy Barrocan, 41, of Barangay Poblacion.
