Over 445K Filipinos Gain Livelihood, Emergency Jobs in Q3

Manila: Over 400,000 individuals benefited from more than PHP3-billion grants released from the nationwide implementation of the DOLE Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program (DILEEP) in the third quarter of 2025, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) reported Monday. Ilocos region: Typhoon Uwan (international name Fung-wong) continued to weaken as it moved farther away from the Ilocos Region, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said. Antique: Families that were preemptively evacuated in Antique due to Super Typhoon Uwan (Fung-wong) have returned to their respective homes after weather conditions improved on Monday.
