Manila: The peso strengthened against the US dollar on Monday, but the local bourse’s main index slipped as investors remain cautious following the weaker-than-expected economic growth in the third quarter of 2025. DSWD Extends P6.4-Million Aid to Uwan Victims

Manila: The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has intensified its relief operations, extending more than PHP6.4 million worth of initial aid to families affected by Super Typhoon Uwan, Secretary Rex Gatchalian announced Monday.
