Midsayap: Civilians in three towns within the Special Geographic Area of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (SGA-BARMM) have surrendered 41 unlicensed firearms to support peace and development efforts, a military official announced. Oil Prices Surge in Philippines Following Three-Week Rollback

Manila: After three consecutive weeks of rollbacks, oil firms in the Philippines will increase prices starting Tuesday. According to Philippines News Agency, major oil companies including Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, PTT, Seaoil, and Shell have announced an increase in gasoline prices by PHP1.10 per liter and diesel prices by 40 centavos per liter. Additionally, Caltex, Seaoil, and Shell will implement a 40-centavo increase on kerosene prices. Other oil firms are expected to follow suit in adjusting their prices. Butuan City: The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) on Monday reported the arrest of two Korean nationals and nine Filipinos involved in illegal mining in Butuan City.
