DOTr welcomes Airbus in sustainable aviation fuel study

MANILA: The Department of Transportation (DOTr) on Thursday welcomed the support of aerospace company Airbus in the development of a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) ecosystem through the Philippine SAF Feasibility Study. DA: Vaccinated hogs develop higher antibody vs. ASF

MANILA: The Department of Agriculture (DA) on Thursday reported higher development of antibodies against African swine fever (ASF) among vaccinated hogs in two farms in Lobo, Batangas. This came 30 days after the DA – Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) rolled out the first government-controlled ASF vaccination using AVAC live vaccines on Aug. 30. MANILA: The local stock market ended the day lower due to last-minute profit-taking, while the peso weakened on Thursday. Butuan City drug bust nets P6.9M in shabu

BUTUAN CITY: Police arrested a major drug suspect and seized PHP6.9 million worth of suspected shabu in an anti-drug operation here on Wednesday, authorities said. The suspect, identified only as “Emman,” 38, a high-value target, was arrested during a sting operation around 9:30 a.m. at the Sports Complex in Purok 2, Barangay Libertad.
