Pangasinan raises alarm as dengue cases up by 97%

The Pangasinan Provincial Health Office (PHO) has reminded Pangasinenses anew to be vigilant against dengue as cases in the province almost doubled from January to July 26 this year. The latest data provided by the PHO Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit on Saturday showed 2,634 dengue cases were recorded during this period, a 97-percent increase from 1,334 cases recorded in the same period last year. Cebu churches back to 10% seating capacity

Churches will observe a 10-percent seating capacity for churchgoers as Cebu reverts to the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ). Manila opens 1st drive-thru vaccination site

The city of Manila opened on Saturday its 27th vaccination hub and first drive-thru site at the Quirino Grandstand. As with the other vaccination centers in the city, the drive-thru site will accommodate even non-Manila residents but by schedule. All other inoculation sites in the capital city are on first come, first served basis. Only four individuals per vehicle will be vaccinated.
