MANILA: The Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) is mourning the death of Philippine cinema icon Lily Yu-Chu Monteverde, fondly called “Mother Lily” in the movie industry. Monteverde, who died on Aug. 4, was an entrepreneur and philanthropist in the Filipino-Chinese community. She would’ve turned 85 on Aug. 19.
