Cebu Provincial Board OKs P85-M to Build Temporary Learning Shelters

Cebu: The Cebu Provincial School Board (CPSB) has approved a PHP85-million supplemental budget for the construction of temporary learning shelters (TLS) in schools that sustained damage from the 6.9-magnitude earthquake that struck the province on September 30. According to Philippines News Agency, during the meeting, the Department of Education (DepEd) – Cebu province presented its validated report of 570 classrooms completely damaged, 1,101 classrooms with major damage, and 1,723 classrooms with minor damage.
