ACM Roadshow in Iloilo City Launches Preparation for 2025 Midterm Elections.

ILOILO CITY: The Commission on Elections (Comelec) gathered on Monday representatives from four villages in Iloilo City for the kickoff of the automated counting machine (ACM) roadshow and demonstration activity held simultaneously nationwide in preparation for the 2025 midterm elections. The roadshow aims to familiarize voters with the ACM technology. According to Philippines News Agency, Regional Election Director lawyer Dennis Ausan explained during the event at Iloilo City National High School in Molo District that this roadshow responds to the public’s growing interest and questions about the automation of the electoral process. DSWD Disburses P60M Seed Capital to Pangasinan Beneficiaries.

MALASIQUI: Around 1,156 individuals and 77 groups in the fourth to sixth districts of Pangasinan have benefited from the PHP60 million disbursed by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) under its Seed Capital Fund (SCF) program. Capability building officer Francis Bustamante of DSWD Eastern Pangasinan, in an interview on Monday, said the amount was given from Jan. 1 to Nov. 20 this year. According to Philippines News Agency, under the program, qualified individuals may avail of the PHP15,000 seed capital grant while groups may avail of PHP15,000 up to PHP600,000 depending on their number and the proposed business.
