MANILA: Philippine economic growth is expected to strengthen this year amid easing inflation and a less restrictive monetary policy, the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) said. In a report released on Monday, AMRO said the growth of the Philippine economy is projected to hit 5.8 percent this year from 5.5 percent in 2023. Manila: The rates of the Philippines’ treasury bills (T-bills) displayed mixed outcomes in the auction conducted on Monday. The Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) reported variations in the average yields of different tenors as market participants adjusted their bids ahead of upcoming economic data releases.
