‘Zero Hunger Payout’ supports 63 small entrepreneurs in Surigao Sur
BUTUAN CITY – Sixty-three residents of the towns of Tagbina and Barobo in Surigao del Sur received PHP15,000 each from the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Zero Hunger Payout under its Sustainable Livelihood Program. In a statement Tuesday, DSWD 13 (Caraga) said the funds would help expand local businesses, including corn, coffee, salted eggs, chorizo, and banana chip production.
