KUALA LUMPUR, Bursa Malaysia traded slightly higher in early action, tracking mixed overnight performance on Wall Street ahead of the US Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision tomorrow. Flood In Kubang Pasu: 53 Residents Evacuated

ALOR SETAR, A relief centre (PPS) has been opened in the Kubang Pasu district to accommodate 53 victims from 15 families affected by the flood. Kubang Pasu Civil Defense Officer Captain (PA) Mohd Adenin Suhaimi said the PPS was opened at 9,16 pm yesterday at Sekolah Kebangsaan Malau, near Jitra to accommodate the victims. The flood in Mukim Malau affected three villages, namely Kampung Padang Panjang, Kampung Sampang and Kampung Lubuk Ipoh.
