SEREMBAN, A goatherd pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court today to two charges of capturing and caging a panther last March. The accused, Mohd Firdaus Mohd Lani, 40, entered his plea after the charges were read to him before Judge Mohamad Kamil Nizam. Mohd Azizi’s Bid To Stop Nenggiri By-election Is Academic, Court Told

KUALA LUMPUR, The High Court was today told that an inter-parte injunction application by former Nenggiri assemblyman Mohd Azizi Abu Naim to stop the Election Commission (EC) from conducting the by-election for the state seat in Kelantan, is a non-starter as it has been rendered academic and nugatory. Over RM8 Mln Allocated For Development Of Idle Land In Kelantan

PASIR MAS, The government has approved RM8.2 million for 11 idle land development projects for agricultural purposes in Kelantan this year.
