FBM KLCI Futures End Stronger

KUALA LUMPUR, The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended firmer today, tracking the underlying cash market’s performance. Spot month August 2024 and September 2024 gained 26.5 points each to 1,592.0 and 1,574.0, respectively, December 2024 added 25.5 points to 1,578.0, and March 2025 rose 27.0 points to 1,569.5. Turnover dropped to 15,459 lots from 23,306 on Tuesday, while open interest fell to 54,809 contracts from 68,127 previously. At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI put on 17.48 points or 1.11 per cent to 1,591.87 compared with Tuesday’s close of 1,574.39. Source: BERNAMA News Agency
