CTA orders Dunkin’ franchise to pay P65-M in deficiency taxes

MANILA: Dunkin Donuts’ Philippine franchise holder, Golden Donuts Inc., has been ordered to pay nearly PHP65 million in deficiency taxes by the Court of Tax Appeals (CTA). In its 58-page decision promulgated July 30 and published on Monday, the court partially granted the petition filed by the firm and ordered it to pay PHP41.832 million but with additional fees.
