MALASIQUI: Pangasinan’s corporate farming program will get boost through a new set of agricultural machinery from the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PhilMech). MANILA: The public is warned of a new short message service (SMS) scam that can evade automatic blocking tools by using unclickable links. In a statement, PLDT-Smart chief information security officer Jojo Gendrano said automatic blocking tools can prevent a significant number of SMS scam messages from reaching customers but scammers continue to look for new ways to continue their phishing activities. ‘They now send unclickable links, but with the same goal of luring customers into opening malicious domains,’ Gendrano said. MANILA: Oil companies will reduce fuel prices on Tuesday, implementing rollbacks for diesel and kerosene prices for four straight weeks. In separate advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petro Gazz, Seaoil, and Shell said they will slash gasoline prices by 10 centavos per liter and 20 cents per liter for diesel.
