PNP’s active Covid-19 cases down to 66

The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday reported the number of active coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases further dropped to 66. In its latest Covid-19 bulletin, the PNP said this is lower than Sunday’s 88 active cases. Another 25 new recoveries were reported, raising the number of recovered personnel to 48,575 out of a total of 48,769 personnel who got infected since the pandemic started in March 2020. 100 kids with comorbidities vaxxed in Olongapo City

At least 100 children with comorbidities in Olongapo City were inoculated on Monday during the kickoff of a three-day rollout of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccination for kids 5 to 11 years old. The inoculation was held at the James L. Gordon Memorial Hospital, where the venue was decorated with a party-like theme complete with toys and balloons. Health workers were wearing colorful headgear to ease the anxiety of the children while being vaccinated. 5 robbers killed in Maguindanao

Five robbery holdup suspects were killed while another one was wounded in a shootout here, police officials said Monday. Col. Jibin Bongcayao, Maguindanao police director, said the shootout happened around 9 p.m. Saturday in Sitio Midpalaw, Barangay Kauran, Ampatuan town.
