No post-typhoon hoarding, price hike in NegOr: DTI

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Negros Oriental on Monday reassured the public it is keeping a close eye on the prices and the stability of supply of goods in the province following the onslaught of Typhoon Odette last month. BOC overshoots 2021 collection goal by 4.7%

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has exceeded its annual collection target in 2021 by 4.7 percent or equivalent to PHP29.016 billion. The preliminary report from the Revenue Collection Monitoring Group (RCMG) showed BOC collected PHP645.765 billion as against its target of PHP616.749 billion. NegOcc receives P41-M aid from nat’l gov’t

The provincial government Negros Occidental has received PHP41-million financial assistance from the Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) for the rebuilding of houses damaged during the onslaught of Typhoon Odette on December 16. At least 2,832 pieces of confiscated illegal firecrackers and pyrotechnic devices amounting to PHP33,596 were simultaneously destroyed at the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO) compound on Monday.
