33 hog raisers in Agusan Sur town get gov’t aid

BUTUAN CITY – The municipal government of San Francisco in Agusan del Sur facilitated the distribution of cash aid to 33 hog raisers whose sources of income were affected by the African swine fever (ASF). In a statement Friday, the Information Office of San Francisco said the livelihood sources of the 33 aid recipients were greatly affected when the local government implemented the depopulation of about 83 hogs to prevent the further spread of the disease in the area.
