Pasay City: The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said rehabilitation works will be conducted along Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard in Pasay City starting Thursday evening.

According to Philippines News Agency, the DPWH-South Manila District Engineering Office (SMDEO) stated that the rehabilitation of damaged paved roads of the southbound and northbound portions of the Boulevard will begin at 10 p.m. The project will cover all lanes but will be implemented in phases to avoid further disruptions on the traffic flow in the area.

The repairs on the northbound portions are expected to run for almost one year, concluding in January 2026. Meanwhile, the works on the southbound portions are anticipated to be completed by October 2025. Motorists have been advised to access other lanes as alternate routes during the repair period.

The DPWH-SMDEO plans to work towards opening the closed lanes and completing the project ahead of time for the convenience of the public.
