Baguio City: Hundreds of job vacancies will be up for grabs in the Baguio City leg of the nationwide jobs fair of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) on Jan. 31. Patrick Rillorta of the DOLE-Cordillera Administrative Region (DOLE-CAR) announced that the event will be held at SM City Atrium from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
According to Philippines News Agency, Rillorta advised job hunters to prepare several copies of their documents in case they find more job offerings that might suit their qualifications. He emphasized the importance of being mentally and physically prepared for on-the-spot interviews with potential employers.
Rillorta mentioned that DOLE conducts regular job fairs as part of various celebrations such as Labor Day in May, Independence Day, Cordillera Day, and Baguio Day. He also encouraged the public to take advantage of the activity because several government agencies will set up booths to help them obtain relevant documents.
