Fair Weather to Prevail Across Philippines, Says Weather Bureau

Manila: Except for localized thunderstorms, fair weather will prevail across the country on Monday, the weather bureau said. In its 5 a.m. advisory, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that Batanes and the Babuyan Islands will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

According to Philippines News Agency, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers resulting from localized thunderstorms. PAGASA is also monitoring a low-pressure area (LPA), currently located 3,200 km east of Eastern Visayas, which has no direct effect yet on any part of the country.

The weather bureau has issued no gale warning for any part of the country.
