Baguio City: The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Cordillera announced that Kennon Road is currently accessible only to light vehicles. This decision is part of efforts to manage the expected increase in travelers to Baguio City and its surrounding areas during the Holy Week long weekend.

According to Philippines News Agency, Kennon Road is one of the three main routes to Baguio City, alongside Marcos Highway and Baguio-Bauang Road (Naguilian Road). The DPWH assured that all national roads and bridges in the region remain passable, providing travelers with multiple options for their journey.
