Manila: The decision by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to cancel the registration and accreditation of the Moro Ako Party as a Regional Parliamentary Political Party (RPPP) is now deemed final and executory. This follows the Comelec en banc's issuance of Resolution No. 11271, which included a "Certificate of Finality" and "Entry of Judgment" on the petition filed by Aladin A. Abdul against the political party.

According to Philippines News Agency, the Clerk of the Commission issued the Certificate of Finality and Entry of Judgment on September 7, 2026, declaring the resolution from August 27, 2026, immediately executory. This decision was subsequently entered into the Book of Entries of Judgment, solidifying the ruling.

As part of the resolution, the Comelec removed Moro Ako Party from its list of the eight Major RPPP, revising the roster for the regional electoral exercise. The party has been stricken from the roster of accredited Major Regional Parliamentary Political Parties under Section 7 of Resolution No. 11248. All entitlements, privileges, and preferences, including the allotment of the 12th copy of the election returns and the privilege to appoint watchers, have been withdrawn from the party.

The accreditation was initially canceled on August 4 due to untruthful claims during the application process for accreditation for the BPE. The decision was affirmed on August 27, as the Motion for Reconsideration presented arguments previously addressed by the Commission.

The revised list of major RPPP now includes Bangsamoro Party (BAPA), Bangsamoro Empowerment and Social Transformation Party (BEST PARTY), Mahardika Party (MAHARDIKA), Partido Bangon Bangsamoro (PBB), BARMM Grand Coalition (BGC), Indigenous, Settlers, Sama, and Minorities Alliance Party (ISAMA), People's Consultative Party (MUSHAWARA), and AL-ITTIHAD-Ungaya sa Kagawib Nu Bangsamoro (AL ITTIHAD-UKB).

Comelec also clarified that the accreditation of the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) as the Dominant Majority RPPP and the Bangsamoro Federalist Party (BFP) as the Dominant Minority RPPP, along with their respective entitlements, privileges, and preferences, remain unaffected by the case involving Moro Ako Party.
