IPOH, The Legal Aid Department will expand the Justice on Wheels (JoW) programme to Peninsular Malaysia to provide understanding and assistance to the B40 group in resolving legal issues. KUALA TERENGGANU, A Myanmar labourer was fined RM5,000 by the Sessions Court here today for offering RM250 to a police officer to not take action against him for engaging in second-hand business without a licence. Judge Norashima Khalid meted out the fine on Mohammad Shakir Mohammad Zokoria, 27, who pleaded guilty to the charge. He paid the fine. KUALA LUMPUR, CyberSecurity Malaysia (CSM) has issued an alert to users and organisations to be cautious of possible phishing attacks by cybercriminals following the CrowdStrike global disruption. CSM posted on Facebook today advising all parties to be cautious of calls from unknown parties, data phishing emails, phishing websites or messages containing software updates or remote access requests to restore computers following the global disruption. ‘Users and system administrators are also advised to take precautionary measures such as blocking dangerous domains with proxies, filtering spam and security mechanisms to prevent phishing and threats, and to continuously monitor to immediately detect and
