LGUs told to mobilize resources for peaceful, orderly ‘Undas’

Manila: The Department of the Interior of the Local Government (DILG) on Wednesday called on local government units to ensure the peaceful and orderly observance of the “Undas” (All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days) holidays. P1.7M shabu seized at Davao checkpoint

DAVAO CITY – The Task Force Davao (TFD) and the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) confiscated PHP1.7 million worth of shabu from two suspects at the Sirawan checkpoint in Toril district on Tuesday night. Col. Darren Comia, TFD commander, said the suspects, identified as ‘Harold’ and ‘Hany,’ were driving a private vehicle and were stopped for the standard inspection around 9:45 p.m. During the search, Comia said officers discovered 256.6 grams of shabu concealed inside the vehicle.
