Itbayat:President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has announced special non-working days in five municipalities across different regions of the Philippines, allowing residents to engage in local festivities. According to Philippines News Agency, the declaration was made through several proclamations signed by Acting Executive Secretary Ralph Recto on September 24, under the authority of the President. Proclamation No. 1450 designates September 28 as a special non-working day in the Municipality of Luna, Isabela, to celebrate its 77th founding anniversary. Similarly, Proclamation No. 1451 marks September 29 as a special non-working day in Argao, Cebu, for Araw ng Argao. In Palawan, Proclamation No. 1452 declares October 1 as a special non-working day in Aborlan for its town fiesta. Meanwhile, Proclamation No. 1453 sets October 2 as a special non-working day in Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, in honor of Solano Day. Lastly, Proclamation No. 1454 establishes October 5 as a special non-working day in Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur , to commemorate its 142nd founding anniversary. These proclamations aim to provide residents the opportunity to participate in and enjoy their local celebrations fully.
