Antique: The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (PCCI) Antique chapter is set to assist the Commission on Elections (Comelec) in preparing for the upcoming May elections by educating their employees on the automated counting machine (ACM).
According to Philippines News Agency, PCCI Antique president Rani Rodriguez expressed increased confidence in participating in the national and local elections following their attendance at the Comelec voter’s education and ACM roadshow held at Advance Central College. Rodriguez emphasized the importance of educating their employees to ensure they understand the election process.
The PCCI plans to disseminate information on the ACM’s features to their employees, enabling them to navigate the election process effectively. Rodriguez highlighted one of the machine’s features, noting that after feeding the official ballot into the ACM, a summary is provided, allowing voters to see immediate results.
Rodriguez affirmed the group’s commitment to participate fully in the electoral process by exercising their right to vote in May.
