Davao City Gun Owner Turns Over 25 High-Powered Firearms to PNP

Davao city: The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday accepted 25 high-powered guns listed as loose firearms from a private individual in Davao City as part of the government’s campaign on citizen cooperation and responsible gun ownership. Surigao City Crime Rate Drops by 28% in 2 Months

Surigao city: The crime rate in Surigao City decreased by 28.57 percent from Oct. 1 to Dec. 8, police reported Tuesday. The Surigao City Police Station recorded 19 index crimes during the period, down from 45 cases in the previous quarter. Notably, the city reported zero murder and homicide cases this quarter, down from two murders previously.
