Bacolod city: This highly urbanized city has released PHP5.62 million in cash assistance to 936 eligible solo parents under the local government’s Solo Parent Welfare Program. Data from the city’s Department of Social Services and Development (DSSD) showed each beneficiary received PHP6,000, covering the period January to June this year. Manila: The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) stated Thursday that it has referred a petition for a Writ of Kalikasan to the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG).
