Davao oriental: The United States government has prepositioned 137,000 food packs and shelter kits for the victims of the ‘doublet’ earthquake that struck Davao Oriental on Friday. According to Philippines News Agency, the US has expressed its commitment to support those affected by the disaster through the provision of essential supplies. ‘My heart goes out to all those affected by the Mindanao earthquake and recent natural disasters,’ a US representative stated.
