NDRRMC Reports 26 Dead and 147 Injured in Cebu Earthquake
Bogo city: The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) announced on Wednesday that it is validating reports of 26 fatalities and 147 injuries following a magnitude 6.9 earthquake that struck Bogo City, Cebu, and surrounding provinces late Tuesday night. According to Philippines News Agency, the NDRRMC’s situational report released at 8 a.m. indicated that all reported casualties and injuries occurred in Region 7, also known as Central Visayas, and are currently undergoing verification.
