UNICEF Warns of Worsening Famine Threatening Children in Gaza
Gaza: The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has warned that Gaza, where Israel continues its genocidal war, is facing a severe food crisis that could get worse. According to Philippines News Agency, UNICEF spokesperson Tess Ingram highlighted the dire situation in an interview with Anadolu, stating that malnutrition rates among children are extremely high, with families struggling to secure sufficient food and water. Ingram noted that around 15 to 20 percent of children screened in Gaza are malnourished, a figure that surpasses emergency thresholds. Alarmingly, more than 110 children have reportedly died from hunger, with over half of these deaths
