Manila: The Philippines has 229 projects worth PHP2.8 trillion in the pipeline to be undertaken by the government and the private sector, the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center. As of Sept. 3 this year, two projects — the Public-Private Partnership for School Infrastructure Project Phase 4 and the Metro Manila Waste to Energy– were recently added to the pipeline. Manila: The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) have formalized a collaborative effort through a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to enhance data sharing between the two institutions. Bicol: More than PHP22 million worth of illegal drugs were seized and 125 drug suspects arrested in anti-drug operations in August, the Police Regional Office in Bicol reported Thursday. PRO-5 Director Brig. Gen. Nestor Babagay Jr. stated that 3,358.337 grams of shabu and 61.1000 grams of marijuana were seized through 155 operations conducted across the region.
