Guimaras: Twenty-seven top-performing barangays from the four municipalities of Guimaras have been honored with the Seal of Good Local Governance for Barangays (SGLGB), following a rigorous evaluation by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG). DOLE Reminds Bicol Employers of Wage Rules for Upcoming Holidays

Bicol: The Department of Labor and Employment in Bicol (DOLE-5) has issued a reminder to private-sector employers regarding the appropriate payment of wages for two regular holidays in June. According to Philippines News Agency, DOLE-5 emphasized in a social media post that wages for Eid’l Adha on June 6 and Independence Day on June 12 must adhere to the pay rules outlined in Proclamation 727, Series of 2024, and Proclamation 911, Series of 2025.
