Amihan and Shear Line to Bring Rain and Thunderstorms to Luzon
MANILA: The shear line and the northeast monsoon, locally known as “amihan,” are set to continue affecting parts of Luzon, according to the weather bureau on Sunday. According to Philippines News Agency, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued a 4 a.m. bulletin indicating that the shear line will cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms.
