BUTUAN CITY: The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) 13 (Caraga) promptly extended assistance to 112 Caraga State University students affected by a fire in Barangay Ampayon here. The fire, which broke out at about 3 a.m. on Tuesday, destroyed several residences, including boarding houses occupied by students. According to Philippines News Agency, the DSWD-13 coordinated with the City Social Welfare and Development Office to ensure a comprehensive response for the fire victims.
