Tacloban city: At least 2,408 police officers across Eastern Visayas have been deployed to cemeteries and terminals to ensure public safety as the country observes All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day. According to Philippines News Agency, Brig. Gen. Jay Cumigad, Police Regional Office 8 (Eastern Visayas) director, stated that the security plan activated on Oct. 30 covers high-traffic areas, including 326 cemeteries and memorial parks, as well as transport terminals, ports, and other public locations expected to see increased foot traffic.
