Manila: The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has confirmed that its personnel and equipment are ready to conduct clearing operations in regions affected by Super Typhoon Leon, also known internationally as Kong-Rey. The assurance was made public on Thursday as the department mobilizes resources to address the impact of the typhoon. According to Philippines News Agency, the DPWH has mobilized a total of 1,113 personnel, supported by 102 heavy equipment units, 85 motor vehicles, and 2,190 light equipment units. These resources are on standby to ensure a swift response to any infrastructure disruptions caused by the typhoon. Currently,
